Welcome!

Hello, I’m Tracy Moshe ("mo-SHEH")!

Thank you for visiting my site.

I love metal! I especially love restoring fine metal to show off its full beauty with careful and loving polishing.

WHAT I DO

As much as we love our sterling silver and other fine metal pieces, sometimes just due to use and the passage of time they can accumulate tarnish, stains, and spots.

On the right, in the top picture, you see a typical sterling silver spoon that just has not gotten the regular attention it needs.

I like to help fine metal pieces like that spoon literally get their shine back. On the right, in the bottom picture you can see the results after I spend some time with that spoon.

I help you make your unique and beautiful fine metal jewelry, cutlery, flatware, and other personal treasures gleam as they once did.  I give fine watches the special attention they deserve, cleaning and polishing single- and dual-finish bands.

I work with gold, platinum, and sterling.

I can produce the range of finishes, from satin to high shine.

I buy and sell jewelry and and other metal pieces that may no longer suit your needs or personal taste.

I have a special love of Judaica, and I can make your favorite pieces look even better than you remember them with services from wax removal all the way to final polish.

HOW WE WORK TOGETHER

I do not list set prices for specific kinds of pieces because every piece is different and every situation is different.

I assure you my rates are very reasonable for the amount of pleasure you will experience from seeing and using your fine metal pieces again and for the quality of work. So if you would like us to work together:

  • Figure out how many pieces you would like to have polished, or whatever other work you need done.

  • Get in touch with me. You can

  • I'll reply to you. Please indicate if you prefer a call, email, or text. And if you can be very specific in the  form about what you need, I might be able to give you an estimate when we first talk. Otherwise, I will get back to you with a proposal and estimate. Then I will get back to you with an estimate.

  • We work together to schedule your polishing.

  • I ask for a 20% non-refundable deposit to hold the date and time for your work.

  • At least 10 business days before your work starts, we arrange how you will get your pieces to me. At that time, I ask you for an additional non-refundable 30% towards the estimated price. (You will have paid 50% up front.)

  • After I complete your work, I ask that the 50% balance be paid before returning your items.

  • You enjoy your shining treasures!

Special note on repairs

If I determine that your piece requires repair beyond what I feel comfortable doing, I will have that repair work performed by one of several master craftspeople whom I have worked with and whose work I approve of. Pricing of those repairs will be included in your estimate.

Cancellations and refunds

  • The initial 20% deposit that reserves time for me to do your work is non-refundable.

  • Cancelling your work less than 10 business days before your work date means that the additional 30% is non-refundable.

  • All services are final.

I look forward to our working together and your satisfaction!
