About Tracy

I graduated from the North Bennet Street School in Boston, MA – the oldest trade school in the USA – in 2009. At North Bennett Street I learned that my passion for metal could also be a career.

 

After I graduated I worked 2009-2013 for E.B. Horn Jewelers in Boston – the oldest jewelry store in Boston (1839), with the best quality of course. I worked with absolutely amazing pieces of jewelry. Some went out as new gifts, vintage and antique family heirlooms came in for repair or polishing, some spectacular estate jewelry would find its way to new homes. I was E.B. Horn’s main jeweler, polishing and performing some repairs. I’ll always be grateful to E.B. Horn for the valuable experience and all I learned there.

Later, I became a salesperson for The Goldsmith in Brookline MA, where I used my expertise to help customers understand and appreciate the pieces they were considering.

I decided to open Polishing Metal by Tracy to find opportunities to work with fine metal and to share my love of fine metal with others.  I look forward to working with you!
